20 Jul Denis Private Island achieves TripAdvisor Hall of Fame status
Consistently stellar ratings from past guests at Denis Private Island have vaulted the property into TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame this month, while also earning international travel award nominations.
Induction into the Hall of Fame of the world’s biggest travel review website requires that a hotel or service provider earns Certificates of Excellence for five consecutive years. TripAdvisor awards the certificates every year to businesses or organisations that earn an overall rating of at least four out of five and generate a minimum number of reviews.
Denis Private Island maintains an excellent 4.5 rating on TripAdvisor, one of the best marks for Seychelles, Denis Private Island PR, Branding and Communications Manager Nicole St Ange said.
“TripAdvisor Hall of Fame status is one of the best recognitions a hotel can achieve, given that the status is completely dependent on what guests think,” St Ange said. “To have our guests validate the Denis experience for five years running is a wonderful recognition of both our hospitality product and our staff as well as a nod to the role that sustainability and conservation should play in hospitality.”
The property has also earned nominations for three categories in the World Luxury Hotel awards, for best Luxury Beach Hotel, Luxury Romantic Hotel and Luxury Boutique Retreat.
“It’s an honour for Denis Private Island to be nominated in the WLHA awards, which shows that today’s concept of luxury encompasses much more than opulence, but also the notion of isolation and closeness to nature as luxuries in their own right,” St Ange said.
Online voting for the awards will take place throughout the month of August, leading up to the WLHA Annual Gala Awards Ceremony at the Ayana Resort and Spa in Bali, Indonesia on November 10th.
